
Lake Use
Walton Lake is a private body of water that may be used by all residents who belong to the Walton Lake Homeowners Association. Swimming is not allowed, but fishing, small boats, canoes, rafts, pontoons and kayaks are permitted from dawn to one-half hour past sunset. The island is a protected wetland and recreational use of the island is PROHIBITED. Users of the lake must adhere to all Lake Use Rules. Users are responsible for their own safety and shall have no claim of liability toward the Walton lake HOA or its members.
Invited guests may use the lake as long as each person is directly invited by a current Walton Lake Homeowner. No residents or guests may cross the property or enter the lake from any lakefront homeowners property without their permission.
Non-lakefront residents and their guest may access the lake from Lot 51 - "AREA 51" located in the Northwest side of the neighborhood.
***All un-accompanied guests must adhere to all Lake Use rules and have in their possession at all times a copy of the homeowners "LAKE USE" permission form as proof of invitation. Guests' vehicles should be parked in the homeowners driveway or street in front of the homeowners property. Failure to comply will result in forfeiture of use privileges.
